FOOL PROOF ROLLS 
2 c. lukewarm water
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. shortening
6 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Measure water, put in big bowl. Dissolve yeast in this water. Add sugar, salt and melted shortening. Stir in 3 cups flour. Beat well. Add 2 1/2 cups flour again, mix well. Put 1/2 cup flour on board. Knead dough. Put in greased mixing bowl. Let rise until doubled. Punch down and put in refrigerator. Make into rolls 2 or 3 hours before baking time. Fix as needed. Put remainder in refrigerator until needed. Bake at 375 degrees.
