SOUTH OF THE BORDER SPECIAL | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 clove garlic, crushed 18 oz. can tomato sauce 1/4 tsp. oregano 1/2 lb. crushed nachos 1/2 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar or Cojack) 1/4 c. sliced green onion 1 med. onion, chopped 2 c. water 2 tbsp. chili powder 1 can red kidney beans 1 c. shredded lettuce 1/4 c. chopped olives Cook beef, onion, garlic together, drain. Stir in water, tomato sauce, chili powder, and oregano. Pour half of this mixture into 9x13x2 inch pan, top with 1/2 can of red kidney beans and half of the nachos. Repeat layers and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with lettuce, cheese, onions and olives. |
