STRAWBERRY PINEAPPLE SALAD 
6 oz. pkg. strawberry Jello
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
10 oz. can crushed pineapple
2 lg. ripe mashed bananas
1/2 pt. soured cream or yogurt
1 can pears, drained, cut bite size
1/2 c. chopped walnuts (opt.)

Dissolve gelatin in two cups boiling water. Add thawed strawberries and juice. Add undrained pineapple and bananas. Fill mold with half of mixture. Put in refrigerator to set to be firm. Cover whole layer with sour cream. Sprinkle on chopped walnuts. Carefully pour on rest of Jello. Top with half and half mayonnaise and Cool Whip. Use 9"x13" pan or dish.
