CHOCOLATE TORTE 
1 c. water
1 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 stick butter
2 pkgs. instant chocolate pudding
1 med. Cool Whip
4 eggs
Sliced almonds
Confectioners' sugar

Bring water, butter and salt to a rolling boil. Add flour and stir immediately forming a smooth ball. Cool some and add eggs, 1 at a time, reserving some of the egg white from the last egg.

When all smooth, drop onto greased cookie sheet (or round pizza pan) in a circle. Smooth all together forming a circle leaving a hole in the center. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until crisp and brown. Cool and then slice in half, pick out all soft dough and let air dry some. Fill with prepared pudding and top with Cool Whip, replace top of torte and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Refrigerate.
