PARTY POTATOES 
1 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes
1 c. diced onions
1 lb. sour cream
1 stick butter
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 lg. bag potato chips, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste

Remove potatoes from freezer. Thaw potatoes for 1 hour. Mix all ingredients together except potato chips. In a 9 x 13 inch pan place the ingredients. Add the crushed potato chips to cover the entire top of casserole. Do not cover. Bake. Makes approximately 12 servings.
