EASY 2-EGG CAKE 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Combine all dry ingredients. Add and blend liquid ingredients. Bake in loaf or 2 rounds, 25 minutes, 375 degrees.

VARIATION:

Divide batter. Add cocoa to dark 1/2 batter. Marble chocolate batter into white batter. Bake.

SUGAR ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 stick butter

Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes slowly. Add vanilla to taste. Ladle over hot cake as you serve it.
