1 German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter
2 c. chocolate chips
14 oz. bag caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. walnuts or pecans

Mix cake as directed on package. Pour 1/2 of mix in greased 9"x13" pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels, butter and milk together. Pour over cake and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Then pour rest of batter on top. Bake another 30 minutes.
