VANILLA PUDDING 
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs plus 1 yolk (I use 3 yolks)
3 heaping tbsp. flour
2 c. milk

Cream sugar and eggs. Add flour to make paste. Then add milk a little at a time until well blended. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick, rolling boil. Remove from heat and cool.

Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla and blend. Bananas can be added for banana pudding or pie, also add 3/4 cup coconut for coconut pie (and on meringue put 1/4 cup coconut) until lightly browned.

This recipe is my great-grandmothers.
