Grease well a 9"x13" pan and dump the ingredients into it making layers in the following order:

1 can (#5 oz.) crushed or chunk pineapple

1 can prepared cherry or strawberry pie filling

1 box yellow cake mix (use dry as it)

1 stick butter, sliced very thin, to be laid over the top of the whole mixture

1 c. chopped nuts

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Leave in pan until served either with whipped or ice cream. Yield: 12 large servings.
