GRAND MARNIER FRENCH TOAST 
1 (10 oz.) loaf sweet French bread
3 c. milk
4 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. Grand Marnier liqueur (opt.)
butter

Grease a 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan with butter. Remove crust from bread. Cut bread into 1 inch thick slices and arrange in bottom of pan. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and Grand Marnier together and pour over bread.

Cover pan with foil and refrigerate 12 hours or overnight. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. (Bread will be puffy.) Finish cooking and lightly browning bread slices in melted butter in a frying pan or grill over medium heat. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar and warm syrup or fresh fruit.
