POTATO SALAD SUPREME 
The secret to its great flavor is combining the seasonings with the potatoes while they are warm.

7 c. warm, sliced, boiled potatoes
1/3 c. chopped chives
1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. sour cream
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. diced cucumber

Combine potatoes, chives, oil, vinegar, onion, salt and pepper; toss well and chill. Meanwhile, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, celery and cucumber and chill. Just before serving, add mayonnaise mixture to tomato mixture, mixing well. Garnish with cherry tomatoes, or serve with lettuce and sliced hard cooked eggs or tomato wedges, if desired. Makes about 8 cups or 8 servings.
