SUPER EASY PIE CRUST
2 c. flour, heaped
Pinch of salt
1/2 to 2/3 c. oil
Milk to make one full cup (with oil)

Stir quickly; roll between wax paper. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes to use prebaked crust; or, bake per specific pie directions. Makes 2 crusts.

This crust is so-o-o easy! It makes cinnamon rolls a joy to bake. Just mix above ingredients and roll dough between wax paper in circle. Cover top of crust with butter; sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and finely chopped nuts on top of butter. Cut into pie shape and roll, beginning at point, and rolling to the outer edge. Bake at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes and ENJOY!

I liked this, easy, fast.. I used it for a quiche and only needed one so I cut the ingredients in half, worked well.. and was perfect for a quiche. Thank you for this, I was not paying upwards of three dollars for a pre-made crust.

I never made my own pie crust. This was the easiest crust ever. Since I was making pumpkin pie I added a little sugar to the crust. I also, loved the wax paper idea to roll the crust between...made it super easy to transfer to pie pan! I will use this again!

This pie crust is soooooo easy and awesome! I add some sugar for dessert pies. double the recipe and keep the unused portion in the freezer for even quicker fixes. You could also use extra portions for turnovers. The cinnamon roll idea is a great. This recipe makes baking pies as easy as pie!

ANSWER FOR SHERRIE POWERS
To form a roll, cut the pie-shaped pastry into pie wedges or triangles (just as if it were a completed pie and you are slicing it).
Now, roll this triangle as directed, ie. from wide end to the pointed end (BEST), or from the pointed end to the wide end. Forms a crescent shape. And bake....

I love this pie dough. I made cinnamon buns with it but you could tell it would make a very good apple pie. Thank you

This crust recipe really is super easy and very tasty. A word of caution though- I've used it with white flour several times and the crusts were always delicious and easy to roll out, etc. Tonight I tried it with whole wheat flour and it was a disaster. The dough was super crumbly, hard to roll out and gritty. I don't know much about cooking so maybe that was obvious but for any other novices like me, be warned.

Used this tonight for chicken pot pie crust (I only put a crust on top) and it was outstanding! Usually buy my crusts from Trader Joe's because I don't like eating shortening and theirs are made with butter but they are expensive. In a pinch I found this recipe and my entire family was so pleased. Thank you for making this recipe available. Will be using it from this day forward.

In order to make small cinnamon rolls, roll out dough into circle as if for pie crust. Spread with layer of butter, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over butter, then roll the dough so that you have one long piece. Cut into 1 inch pieces and place on greased cookie sheet or round pan.

I've been using this for my honey pear and boysenberry pie. It is fool proof for someone that doesn't cook or bake. Today, makin' the boysenberry and apple pie. Love this crust. My son got hooked on pies because of this crust.

I just used this recipe to make a crust for a chicken pie - I have never made a pie crust using an oil base before - I was skeptical! But I was surprised - recipe was good, the pie turned out great! Will definitely use it again - so much easier than 'breadcrumbing' the butter into the flour!

My husband and I carved pumpkins tonight, and decided to make pumpkin pie and bake the seeds. Well as for this crust we were skeptical, but we tried and anyway. It was FABULOUS! It was crumbly and perfect! We did as Cindy said and added a little sugar (we put sweet and low), and it went great with the pumpkin filling. Awesome recipe!

Thank you so much for this. I've been struggling with making good pie crusts for years. This is so simple and delicious and quick - I'm making 6 pies a week for the church. I add a bit of sugar to sweeten it up. Thank You!
