GARLIC BREAD
1 lb. loaf frozen bread dough
1/4 c. unsalted butter (1/2 stick)
1 tbsp. beaten egg
1 tsp. garlic salt

Thaw bread just until it can be sliced (about 20 minutes). Cut into 15 pieces. Melt butter in small sauce pan over low heat. Remove from heat. Stir in parsley, egg and salt. Roll bread pieces into balls. Dip each ball into batter mixture, coating completely. Arrange in single layer in buttered 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Let rise in warm draft free area until doubled, about 2 1/2 hours. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake until top is golden brown, about 25 minutes. Let cool slightly in pan before serving.
