FISH CAKES 
2 c. cooked, crumbled whitefish (scrod cod)
3/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 egg, slightly mixed
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. chopped parsley
2 slices bread, crumbled
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 to 1/2 c. oil (for frying)

Mix all ingredients (except fish, bread crumbs and oil). (You may have to add some of the dry bread crumbs to achieve the right consistency for forming into patties.) Stir in fish and form into 6 to 8 patties. Coat with dry bread crumbs and fry quickly in hot oil, about 3 minutes on each side. Serves 6 to 8.
