MOM'S APPLESAUCE CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. Shortening of choice
1 c. Sugar
1 c. Mom's Homemade Apple Sauce. (See Section B for recipe - Soups, Sauces & Salad or store bought)
2 c. flour
2 Eggs, unbeaten
1/4 tsp. Cloves
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 c. Raisins

Cream Shortening, Sugar and Eggs together in a bowl. Add 1 c. Applesauce. Mix dry ingredients together. Add to mix stirring until batter is smooth. Add Raisins to taste (make it as lumpy as you like).

Bake in cup cake tins at 375°F for about 20 mins.

Yield: 24.
