WHIPPED SHORTBREAD COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until fluffy. Add 3 cups flour. Mix well and drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

I substituted butter with Margarine because of allergies and added 1/4 cup rum, and few colour sugar sprinkles to make them festive, they turned out delicious, hardly noticeable that is margarine.
