CLASSIC CHICKEN DIVAN 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli spears
4 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. flour
2 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. whipping cream
3 tbsp. dry white wine (optional)
3 chicken breasts, halved and cooked
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or fresh mushrooms)
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper

Cook broccoli and drain. Melt butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken broth; cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Stir in cream and wine. Add soup or fresh mushrooms here.

Place broccoli crosswise in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish. Pour 1/2 sauce over. Top with chicken breasts. To remaining sauce add cheese. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle more Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until hot, then broil until golden (keeping pan at least 5 inches from heat source).
