BEEF BRISKET DINNER 
2 1/2 to 3 lb. beef brisket
5 carrots, sliced
5 potatoes, quartered
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar or honey
Water to cover
1 sm. onion

Sear beef in pot or electric skillet. Add vegetables, salt, honey and water. Add water as needed and cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Thicken gravy with 2 tablespoons flour.
