BEEF BRISKET | |
4 lb. beef brisket 3 onions, sliced Salt Pepper Garlic powder Dash of Worcestershire sauce 1/4 c. A-1 Sauce 1/2 c. chili sauce 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. ketchup 1 heaping tsp. brown sugar Combine the last six ingredients in small bowl and set aside. Trim fat from meat. Put onions on bottom of baking pan, add meat (fat side up) and sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pour sauce mixture over meat. Roast uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cover with foil and roast 2 more hours at 325 degrees. Let cool and slice when cold. Skim fat from sauce. Serve with sauce on the side. |
