CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
2 qts. milk
1 c. raw rice
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 egg
2 tbsp. vanilla

Combine 2 quarts milk and rice in covered pot over low heat for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Add sugar; cook additional 1/2 hour. Blend egg and 1 cup cold milk; stir into rice mixture. Add 2 tablespoons vanilla; cook final 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally.
