EGGS PORTUGAL 
1 1/2 lbs. sausage, browned
8 slices bread, cubed
1/4 lb. cheddar cheese
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. mustard
1 can mushroom soup
1 can mushrooms
1/4 c. dry vermouth

Layer 9 x 13 pan with bread, sausage, cheese (in that order). Mix eggs, milk and mustard. Pour over layers. Mix 1 can cream mushroom soup, mushrooms, vermouth. Spread this mixture over casserole and bake uncovered 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
