1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix ingredients together, make a small ball and put on cookie sheet. Then stamp them flat with a bottom of a glass that is pressed and press with 3 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon each. So top of cookie is covered with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. They melt in your mouth.
