2 c. long grain rice, preferably UNCLE BEN'S®
1 can beef consomme soup
1 can French onion soup
Can be cooked on top of stove or in oven. Wash rice (removes starch). Add soups to rice and stir to mix ingredients in pot for top of stove or casserole dish for oven. Cover pot and heat on high heat until it starts to boil. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until liquids have evaporated and rice is tender. Oven method, just cook on about 400 degrees until liquids have evaporated and rice is tender.
