TURKEY BURGERS | |
2 egg whites 1/3 c. onion, chopped fine 1/3 c. soft bread crumbs 1 tbsp. fresh parsley 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 lbs. turkey, ground 1/4 tsp. tarragon, crushed Beat egg whites until foamy. Stir in bread crumbs, onion, parsley, basil, tarragon, salt, pepper and minced garlic. Add turkey; mix well. Makes 8 patties (1/2-inch thick). Mixture may be soft. Spray broiler pan with Pam. Brown patties 4 to 5 inches from heat for 9 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink. Turn once. |
