NEW ENGLAND PECAN PIE 
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. pecan halves
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Bake pie shell in 375 degree oven 10 minutes. Combine flour, sugar, eggs, and butter. Add corn syrup, pecans, vanilla, and a dash of salt; mix well.

Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Found this exact recipe in my grandmother's recipe box for the pecan pies she used to make. The only difference is you pour the pie into the unbaked shell, then bake 10 minutes at 375°F, reduce heat to 350°F and bake 50 minutes more. Not sure where she got the recipe from -- she usually included credit when it was a relative, so I suspect this was in a magazine at the time.
