COPPER COUNTRY PASTIES 
DOUGH:

4 c. flour
1 c. lard
1 tsp. salt
About 3/4 c. cold water

Mix dough as for pie crust.

FILLING:

2 1/2 to 3 lbs. round steak
6 med. potatoes, peeled
1/4 rutabaga, peeled
3 med. or 2 lg. onions, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut the meat, potatoes, and rutabaga into tiny cubes. Mix filling ingredients all together. Roll portion of dough into an 8-inch circle. Put about 1 1/2 cups filling on half of dough. Fold over other half and seal edges. Make a slit on top. Place on baking sheet or in pie pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
