ORANGE BRAN MUFFINS 
2 1/2 c. ready-to-eat All Bran cereal
1 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
2 1/2 tbsp. melted shortening
1 tbsp. grated orange peel

Combine bran and milk, let stand 3 minutes together. Beat eggs, sugar, molasses, shortening, and orange peel. Add bran mixture and egg mixture to dry ingredients all at once. Stir only until flour is barely moistened. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes or until done. Makes 12.
