WHOLE GRAIN CORNBREAD 
1 c. undegerminated cornmeal
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. melted butter or oil
3 tsp. honey, sugar or maple syrup
1 or 2 eggs
1 c. milk

Combine dry ingredients in bowl. In another bowl (or blender) mix liquids. Combine both bowls and stir until just mixed, not overbeaten. Spread in greased 8 or 9 inch pan and bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. For crispy crust, pour batter into preheated cast iron skillet and bake.
