RICE KRISPIES COOKIES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. softened butter (1/2 of it may be shortening)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pinch salt
2 eggs
1 c. quick oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. Rice Krispies

Mix all ingredients well, spoon in Rice Krispies last. Shape into long thin rolls and freeze. Slice very thin when frozen. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned. Keep the dough frozen and slice off what you need. Means having fresh, hot cookies on the table in 10 minutes.
