FIVE SPICE RICE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 bay leaf
1/8 tsp. each garlic powder, thyme, oregano
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 can mushroom soup
1 can tomatoes (16 oz.)
1 c. Minute Rice
Sliced cheese
2 tbsp. olive oil

Brown meat and onion. Stir in seasonings, soup, tomatoes and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir occasionally. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. 5 minutes before finished add cheese slices.
