FOUR FLAVOR POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 1/2 c. vegetable shortening 3 c. sugar 5 eggs, well beaten 3 c. flour, all-purpose 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. milk 1 tsp. each coconut, almond, lemon & vanilla flavorings Cream butter, shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs (well beaten). Combine flour and baking powder and add to mixture alternating with milk. Add flavorings. Bake in well greased, floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 1 1/2 hours. |
