SAUSAGE AND SQUASH BAKE 
2 acorn squash
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
2 c. applesauce
Cinnamon

Cut squash in half lengthwise; remove seeds. Bake uncovered, cut side down in baking dish at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Meanwhile form sausage balls and brown slowly in pan; drain. Add applesauce to pan with cinnamon. Heat, stirring. Add sausage balls, cover and simmer 15 minutes.

Turn squash cut side up and sprinkle with salt. Fill with applesauce and sausage mixture. Continue baking 15 minutes.
