HERB BREAD | |
1 c. white flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. wheat flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1. Sift together the first 5 ingredients. Make a well in the center of the bowl. 4 tbsp. melted butter 1 c. firm yogurt 2 lg. beaten eggs 1/3 c. honey 2. Beat together the next 4 ingredients for 3-5 minutes until frothy. Add the herbs and beat well. 1 tsp. dried dill 1/2 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. tarragon 3. Pour the liquid herb mixture into the well in the center of the dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon until well blended. 4. Pour into a well buttered loaf pan and bake 40-50 minutes. Oven temperature at 350 degrees. |
