GRANDPA'S HAMBURGER SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
2 tbsp. flour
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes, undrained
8 c. water
1/2 c. barley
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
1 tbsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 tsp. basil leaves, crushed
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, cut-up green beans
2 c. carrot slices
1 c. celery slices
1 c. coarsely chopped onions

In a large kettle, brown meat, flour, and garlic. Add tomatoes, water, barley, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and basil. Simmer one hour. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Makes a large kettle of soup. Can freeze!
