SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. (2 layer size) chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix cake according to package directions. Fill paper bake cups in muffin pans 2/3 full. Cream the cheese with the sugar; beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop one rounded tablespoon of cheese mixture onto each cupcake. Bake as directed on package.

Makes about 30 cupcakes. Frost with chocolate or vanilla frosting.
