OYSTER STEW 
1 pt. oysters with liquid
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped parsley

Melt butter in top of double boiler. Add oysters, bring to boiling point but do not boil. Pour milk and cream over hot oysters. Place boiler over hot water. When oysters come to surface, add parsley and serve.
