CRISPY CRUMB COOKIES 
8 oz. or 1 c. chopped dates
1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk (Borden eagle brand)
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Ritz crackers
3 or 4 oz. cream cheese
1/4 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cook until thick on double boiler, milk and dates. Remove from stove and add 1/2 cup pecans chopped. Spread on 60 to 70 Ritz crackers and place on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Cool and mix the last 4 ingredients, then frost. The cooled cracker can be frozen and served right from the freezer.
