MEATBALL & RAVIOLI SOUP 
Meatballs (recipe follows)
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lg. onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1/4 c. tomato paste
1 3/4 c. beef broth
1/2 c. red wine
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. oregano
12 oz. frozen ravioli
1/4 c. chopped parsley
1/4 c. grated Parmesan

Meatballs: lightly beat 1 egg; mix in 1/4 cup each soft bread crumbs and grated Parmesan, 3/4 teaspoon onion salt, 1 clove garlic and 1 pound ground beef. Shape 1 inch balls.
