HOMEMADE DOUBLE CRUST PASTRY 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1 tbsp. water

Put flour and salt in a medium bowl. Cut shortening into small pieces and add to flour and salt. Sprinkle water over the mixture and gently toss with a fork. Form into 2 balls.
