EDIBLE ADVENTURES FRENCH TOAST 
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1-2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tbsp. Grand Marnier, Cognac or brandy

Slice a loaf of good bread. In a wide shallow bowl, whisk together the above ingredients. Dip the bread slices quickly in the liquid and fry on a butter griddle on medium high heat until golden brown, turning once. Serve with maple syrup or fresh fruit preserves.
