ITALIAN SALAD 
1 qt. vinegar
2 tbsp. powdered garlic
2 heads lettuce
Salt
Granulated garlic
2 c. oil

Mix 1 quart vinegar with 2 tablespoons powdered garlic. Mix. Cover and let stand 2 weeks. Thinly slice 2 heads of lettuce. Sprinkle lightly to taste with salt and granulated garlic. Combine 1 cup of the garlic, vinegar with 2 cups oil. Add enough dressing to saturate lettuce. Mix thoroughly, the more the better.
