PUMPKIN DESSERT 
1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 lg. can pumpkin
1 c. milk
1/2 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. butter, melted

In greased 9 x 13-inch pan, pour 1/2 dry cake mix evenly. Mix together eggs, sugar, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin and milk. Pour this mixture over cake mix in pan. Sprinkle with remaining half of cake mix. Sprinkle pecans over top; then pour melted butter over nuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Top with whipped cream or ice cream. Refrigerate. Can be frozen.
