BROCCOLI SALAD 
2 lbs. broccoli tops, washed and broken up
1 c. grated carrots
1 c. raisins
1 c. peanuts, shelled
1/2 c. onions, finely diced
1/2 c. shredded purple cabbage (optional)

DRESSING:

1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, except mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Mix these 3 ingredients together to make the dressing. Pour over vegetables, raisins, and nuts. Mix well. Serve today or hold in refrigerator, even better next day.

You may add any complementing vegetable you like, i.e. cauliflower, cabbage. etc.
