BUMPY LUMPY CAKE 
Prepare a boxed chocolate cake in a 9x13-inch pan.

BUTTER CREAM FILLING:

1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. granulated sugar
5 1/2 oz. Pet (evaporated) milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, Crisco and sugar. Add milk and vanilla. Beat together for 10 minutes. Spread over cooled cake.

FUDGE TOPPING:

1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box (1 lb.) confectioners' sugar

Bring to boil butter, cocoa and milk. Add the above ingredients to a mixing bowl with confectioners' sugar. Beat well. Cool slightly. Mixture will be thin. Pour over butter cream layer.
