SOFT CUSTARD PUDDING | |
5 egg yolks 5 tbsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Combine egg yolks, sugar and salt in top of double boiler. Beat just enough to blend together. Stir in milk, mixing well. Cook over gently simmering water about 15-20 minutes, stirring constantly until temperature is 174 degrees by thermometer and mixture coats spoon smoothly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Strain and cool. Yields 2 cups. |
