SOUR CREAM COOKIES 
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 or more c. flour

Mix all ingredients in order given, adding flour depending on stiffness desired in cookies. Stir well after each addition. Drop by large teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until fingertip will not leave a deep impression. Cool on rack. Do not overbake as cookies are supposed to be soft and chewy. Yield 2 1/2 dozen.
