CHEDDAR CHEESE SOUP 
1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. celery, finely chopped
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. butter
1 pt. milk
1 qt. chicken stock or canned chicken broth
1 1/2 c. Widespread Cheddar Cheese Spread
1 pt. heavy cream

In a large saucepan saute celery, and onions in butter for 2 minutes. Then add flour and cook for 1 more minute.

In another saucepan heat chicken stock, milk and cream. Slowly add stock mixture to butter and flour mixture, stirring constantly. Bring to a light simmer and slowly add Cheddar cheese until melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with bacon bits.
