CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE BARS 
2 greased 9 x 13 inch pans
2 3/4 c. brown sugar
6 eggs
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. honey or molasses
2 1/2 c. mixed citron, candied lemon, orange, pineapple & nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift brown sugar. Beat eggs until light. Add the sugar gradually, beating until well blended. Grate and add unsweetened chocolate.

Combine and sift flour, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, baking soda and salt. Add to egg mixture alternately with honey or molasses. Chop and add mixed citron, candied lemon, orange, pineapple and nuts. Spread dough with spatula into greased pans. Bake 20 minutes. When cool, ice with favorite icing or chocolate butter icing. 108 (1 x 2 inch) bars.
