APPLE-RAISIN PUMPKIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 (9 inch) unbaked shell
1 jar (10 oz.) applesauce
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. (10 oz.) pumpkin
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. undiluted evaporated milk

Prebake shell 10 minutes. Sprinkle raisins in shell. Spread applesauce over raisins. Mix sugar, spices and salt. Stir in pumpkin, egg and milk. Turn into pie shell. Bake below center of oven on 400 degrees for 40 minutes or knife inserted comes clean. Serve slightly warm or cool with whip cream.
