BANANA FRITTERS 
1 c. all-purpose flour
3-4 tbsp. sugar
4-5 whole apple bananas
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
Oil to cover bottom of frying pan

Sift dry ingredients; add milk and mix. Peel and slice bananas in half. Dip halves in batter. Heat oil in frying pan at medium heat and fry bananas until brown on both sides. Serve hot or cold. Yield: 8-10 servings.
